MET Writing Hub
The MET Writing section lasts 45 minutes across two tasks: Task 1 asks you to answer three related short questions (~15 minutes), and Task 2 asks for a multi-paragraph essay of at least 250 words (~30 minutes).
AI feedback scores all 5 official MET dimensions (0–4 each), estimates your 0–80 section score and CEFR band, and highlights sentences to revise.

A short situation with two sides, followed by a question asking what you think. You must give reasons and examples.
All sample prompts, answers and feedback on this page are original practice material created by METmock and are not taken from official exam materials.

Task 2 · Multi-paragraph essay (250+ words, ~30 min)
